Republic NashvilleEli Young Band turned their party celebrating their latest #1 hit, “Drunk Last Night,” into a real family affair Monday afternoon in Nashville. The guys brought their spouses and kids to the event after welcoming them on the road for their last few dates opening for Darius Rucker.
Eli Young Band’s Jon Jones says, “It’s nice. We don’t live in Nashville, so our families don’t get to experience most of what we do up here.”
The guys in Eli Young Band also brought their families along to their video shoot for new single “Dust,” in Westmoreland, TN, on Sunday. Since the song is called “Dust” and not “Mud,” it’s a good thing the severe weather in Middle Tennessee held off long enough for them to get all the shots they needed.
“We really lucked out,” Jon says. “I kind of watched the radar. It really just kind of went on both sides of us, and started raining pretty heavily about 10 minutes after we wrapped.”
He adds, “Someone was looking down at us, ’cause that was our only day to shoot it.”
