The Wamego Area Chamber of Commerce officially announced that Jason Toll has been named as the new Executive Director.
Toll joins the chamber from his prior position as the Public Service Director at the Larned State Hospital. Prior to his work here, Toll has held the role as a small business owner and manager. He formed Computer Services and
Consulting and Amber Wave Internet, a company that was acquired by a larger internet service company in 2002.
Toll is also the founder of the Helping Hands Ministries, a nonprofit group of over 45 volunteers charged with resource and volunteer assistance in Larned. While in Larned, he served on the tourism board and helped build the Larned Civic Pride Organization.
Current Chamber President Steve Land says Tollbrings a unique combination of experience to understand small businesses, as well as his years of team building experience leading local tourism, eco-devo, and community non-profit initiatives.
Toll will be taking over the position on June 8th.
