
A Manhattan man was arrested early Friday morning following a domestic disturbance that resulted in a police investigation.
Riley County Police say officers filed the report around 12:47 a.m. Jan. 9 in Manhattan. A 20-year-old man was listed as the victim, and an 18-year-old man was identified as the suspect after it was reported that property was damaged and threats were made during the incident.
Officers arrested 18-year-old Maximus Delafuente at approximately 2:08 a.m. on charges of criminal damage to property, domestic battery and criminal threat.
Delafuente was issued a total bond of $8,000 and remained confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of the report.
