
A Manhattan woman was arrested Wednesday following a series of reported incidents that led to multiple charges, according to the Riley County Police Department.
Officers first filed a report at approximately 8:17 a.m. Feb. 11 in the 1000 block of South Seth Child Road for three counts of criminal threat and one count of violating a protection order. A second report was filed at approximately 8:32 a.m. in Manhattan for domestic battery, theft of property or services and two counts of battery of a law enforcement officer. Victims in those cases included a 37-year-old man and two 30-year-old men.
Later that day, at approximately 5:42 p.m., officers filed a report of attempted criminal damage to property in the 1000 block of South Seth Child Road. The Riley County Police Department was listed as the victim in that case.
Shante Solton, 34, of Manhattan, was arrested Feb. 11 on three counts of criminal threat, two counts of battery of a law enforcement officer and one count each of theft of property or services, domestic battery, violation of a protection order and attempted criminal damage to property.
Solton was issued a total bond of $28,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
