
Two people were transported to the hospital following separate crashes over the weekend in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department.
Officers first responded at approximately 10:56 p.m. May 2nd to the intersection of North Seth Child Road and Claflin Road for a reported injury accident. Upon arrival, officers determined that a 2020 Lexus driven by Dale Tindall, 86, had collided with a 2015 Dodge Dart driven by Alexis Raine Gromala, 20. Tindall was transported to Via Christi Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
In a separate incident, officers responded at approximately 2:15 a.m. May 3rd near Tuttle Creek Boulevard and Blue River Hills Road. A 2017 Mazda 6 driven by Nevaeh Renee Buffington, 20, of Manhattan, had crashed into a guardrail. Buffington was transported to Via Christi for treatment of her injuries.
