Riley County police officers arrested a fifth teenager Tuesday in connection to the report of an assault against a 15-year-old boy.
Police arrested Elijah William Webber, 17, of Manhattan at 11:04 a.m. in the 300 block of Denison. He is charged with aggravated robbery inflicting bodily harm, battery and aggravated assault while disguised to conceal his identity. The Riley County Police Department released him to another facility.
An RCPD spokesman said the charges are connected to an April 28 report at 42 Powerline Place concerning a stolen iPhone and Airpod headphones, with an approximate value of $650.
Police arrested four other teenagers Friday in connection to the incident.
Banjamin Antonio Chavez Birdwell, 17; brothers Jamie Earl Ellis Jr., 16, and Isaiah Amos Ellis, 17; and Benjamin Gael Carranza, 16, are charged with the same offenses as Webber.
