
Riley County is entering a pilot program that will automatically enroll employees into the state’s optional portion of its retirement system.
Commissioners on Thursday approved the county joining the Kansas Public Employees Retirement System 457 Auto-Enrollment Pilot Program.
Riley County currently has 84 of its 260 eligible employees enrolled in KPERS 457 as supplemental retirement savings.
