
The Riley County Police Department is investigating a fraud case involving the sale of a vehicle to a Manhattan dealership.
Officers filed a report of fraud at approximately 11:32 a.m. July 15 in the 2500 block of Stagg Hill Road.
Briggs Auto Group was listed as the victim after it was reported a known 61-year-old man sold a vehicle to the dealership using a title that allegedly failed to disclose a bank lien.
The estimated loss associated with the case is $30,000.
