
Governor Laura Kelly is looking for aid to Kansas counties to address damages caused by a series of severe weather events in Kansas during the period of June 4-15.
Kelly on Thursday made a request with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) asking for a major presidential disaster declaration due to damages caused by severe thunderstorms, straight-line winds, tornadoes, hail and flooding.
