The Riley County Police Department is investigating a theft after more than $1,000 worth of merchandise was stolen from the Manhattan Walmart.

According to police, officers responded around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday to the store in the 100 block of Bluemont Avenue.

Investigators say two unknown suspects stole two lawn mowers, a grass trimmer and a bottle of cranberry juice.

The estimated loss is $1,009.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Riley County Police Department or Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Anonymous tips may qualify for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
