
Two people were injured Friday afternoon in a rollover crash on U.S. 77 in.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at about 3:45 p.m. on northbound U.S. 77, just south of Dogwood Road. A 2015 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling southbound when the driver lost control, drove onto the west shoulder, overcorrected, crossed both lanes of traffic and entered the east ditch.
The vehicle overturned, struck an embankment and came to rest facing northeast.
The driver, 42-year-old Noe Santillanes-Marquez and the passenger, 40-year-old Leopoldina Santillanes, both of Greenleaf, were taken to Community Memorial Healthcare in Marysville with suspected minor injuries.
