The Fat Shack location in Aggieville at 1131 Moro St. is permanently closed.
According to public comments, Fat Shack closed its doors July 19. The company did not make any public comment.
Local franchise owners Christian Smith and Kevin Goetz did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the matter. They also own a Fat Shack in Topeka, which is still open and is now the nearest franchise location.
Fat Shack initially opened in Manhattan Jan. 30, 2020.
