All five Garth Brooks concerts scheduled for Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland have been canceled. The shows’ promoter, Aiken Promotions, made the announcement on their website Tuesday.
Dublin city council only approved licenses for three concerts, which meant two of the shows had to be canceled. Garth, however, refused to disappoint any of the 400,000 fans who purchased tickets, and the promoter says they “have exhausted all avenues regarding the staging of this event.” So all of the shows have been called off.
The ticket return process will be announced Wednesday. Garth is set to make another major announcement Thursday at noon ET on GarthBrooks.com.
