RCPD Report 8/26/2016

Officers with the Riley County Police Department arrested Patricia Price, 38, of Randolph, Kansas on August 25, 2016 at approximately 3:40 PM. Price was arrested on the offense of parole violation (Junction City, Kansas Parole Office) and given “no bond.” At the time of this report she was confined at the time of the report.

MHS reports sickness

Multiple cases of students with vomiting symptoms have been reported at Manhattan High School the past couple of days, with the school nurse sending about 10 students home. Principal Greg Hoyt confirms the school has contacted the Riley County Health Department, which in turn notified KDHE. An interview with Hoyt follows:

While no injuries were involved, Riley County Police released more information Thursday regarding a Wednesday afternoon accident near Leonardville Two grain trucks were traveling eastbound when one of the drivers lost control and struck the other truck. RCPD Probation Violation

A 35-year-old man was arrested yesterday in the 2500 block of Farm Bureau Road.  Orenthal Johnson of Manhattan was arrested at approximately 9:30 PM on a warrant for probation violation originating in Dickinson County. This warrant had a bond of $20,000.00.
