A threat made at Bill Snyder Family Stadium was unfounded late Thursday night.

K-State Vice President for Communications and Marketing Jeff Morris told KMAN during Friday morning’s edition of In Focus that the K-State Police Department responded to a criminal threat to property call.

Morris said nothing was found and that there is an ongoing investigation to see what led to the report.

“Right now, there’s not anything we are deeply concerned about,” Morris said.

Streets around the stadium were blocked late Thursday night near midnight while the threat was being assessed. Friday morning, RCPD Public Information Officer Hali Rowland told KMAN the department did receive a mutual aid request from K-State PD for assistance with traffic control.
