Capitol NashvilleBlake Shelton has had a dose of Little Big Town’s Pain Killer, and apparently he likes it.

Tuesday night, Blake tweeted, “I just heard some [of] what WILL be one of the most important albums in country music history… Congratulations and thank you @littlebigtown!!!”

Little Big Town’s sixth CD, featuring their hit “Day Drinking,” is due out October 21. Their last CD, Tornado, was one of only ten country albums to sell a million copies last year.

Meanwhile, tickets go on sale this Friday for LBT’s appearance at Baltimore’s Star-Spangled Spectacular. Actor John Lithgow will host the concert commemorating the 200th anniversary of the national anthem, with Kristin Chenoweth, Pentatonix and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra also on the bill. The two-hour show will air live on PBS as part of Great Performances at 8 P.M. ET on September 13.
