Image Courtesy Sony Music NashvilleMiranda Lambert realized a big dream come true Thursday night when she headlined the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, which is 80 miles from her hometown of Lindale, TX. When she still lived in Texas, Miranda passed that arena on her way to the airport in Dallas and often dreamed of bringing her own show to the venue.
To make the milestone even sweeter, Miranda’s husband, Blake Shelton, surprised the audience to sing a duet. Miranda posted a photograph to Instagram of the couple kissing onstage at the show. The caption reads, “Still on cloud 9 from last night! Thanks @blakeshelton for surprising everyone in Dallas! #hubby #home #family #Texasproud.”
Blake performed his hit song “Austin” for the crowd, with Miranda joining him on harmony vocals.
