Kamahl Bobian was scheduled for resentencing in Riley County District Court, but now will wait until Dec. 1 to hear his modified sentence. His appearance was postponed for unknown reasons.
Bobian, a Manhattan man, was convicted Nov. 3, 2023 of the first-degree murder of his wife as well as aggravated burglary and two counts of violating a protective order.
Judge Kendra Lewison sentenced Bobian to 50 years to life for the first-degree murder of Shanell Bobian at their home on Sept. 25, 2021. Lewison included 52 months for the aggravated battery conviction and one year in Riley County jail for the protection order violation.
