Valory Music Co.Brantley Gilbert is back with a bang thanks to his latest hit, “Bottoms Up.” Once he finished writing the song with his co-writers, Brantley knew “Bottoms Up” should be the lead single from his upcoming album, Just as I Am.

He tells ABC News Radio, “It got stuck in my head. You know, everybody we played it for, it kinda stuck to their eardrum. When you get those, you just count your blessings.”

Thankfully, Brantley’s fans confirmed his hunch about “Bottoms Up” and downloaded the song and video in droves.  He feels such a connection to them, Brantley even considers his fans to be his friends.

“A friend’s somebody that supports you and knows you,” Brantley explains. “If somebody’s listening to my, well, this will make three records, you got a pretty good idea of who I am. You know, buying those songs and downloading the video — that’s support. Man, even being a songwriter, I don’t have words for it.”

Brantley is now headlining his own arena tour, which is just one of the big dreams he’s realized in the past few years. In fact, Brantley only hoped to sell out the Georgia Theater near his home when he first started making music.

He says, “It’s 20 minutes from my hometown. It held 900 people. I did it when I was 20. Everything since then has been a bonus. We come up with new goals every day.”
