Jeremy Cowart/Arista NashvilleCarrie Underwood is one of the first performers announced for the American Music Awards, which will air on ABC on November 22. Selena Gomez and Australian pop/rockers 5 Seconds of Summer are the other two acts on the bill.
It’ll be Carrie’s second award show performance that month; she’s also slated to perform on the CMA Awards November 4. She’s co-hosting that ABC telecast with Brad Paisley.
Jennifer Lopez was previously announced as a performer and host of the AMAs telecast. Nominees were announced last week, with Taylor Swift leading the way with six nods.
