CMA/Image Group LAWith Carrie Underwood’s husband Mike Fisher on the injured list after hurting his right leg playing for the Nashville Predators, the new mom was due for a little good news– and early this week, she got it. Not only is she up for Best Country Solo Performance at the Grammys for “Little Toy Guns,” she just found out her new album Storyteller has gone gold, selling half a million copies.

Carrie competes against “Burning House” by Cam, Chris Stapleton’s “Traveller,” “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16” by Keith Urban and Lee Ann Womack’s “Chances Are” for the coveted gramophone. She’ll find out if she wins February 15 when the Grammys air on CBS.
