A lot of activity this past week and coming up in Geary County Court, including a plea in what was originally an aggravated sexual battery case. Junction City orthopedic surgeon Dr. Allan Holiday entered pleas of guilty to two counts of endangering a child. As KMAN reported last July, Holiday was arrested after an incident

MHS Olympiad team places third!

Manhattan High’s Science Olympiad team placed 3rd overall (2nd in Large School Division) April 2nd at the State competition held at Wichita State University. They received 6 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze medals, finishing only 10 points behind the first place team. The coaches are Pat Lamb, Dick Nelson and Craig Ackerman.

Kansas Supreme Court Justices visit Manhattan

  KMAN’s Cathy Dawes had a chance to visit with Kansas Supreme Court Chief Justice Lawton Nuss, Justice Marla Luckert, and Riley County Chief Judge Meryl Wilson. Sentencing in area sex trafficking case
