Monarch PublicityChris Young will headline Nashville’s brand-new Ascend Amphitheater Wednesday night. Since he grew up just down the road in Murfreesboro, Chris has fond memories of watching shows at Nashville’s Starwood Amphitheater, which closed in 2006.
“We haven’t had one since then,” Chris says. “There hasn’t been an amphitheater in Nashville.”
Now that the Ascend Amphitheater has brought live outdoor music back to downtown Nashville, Chris is thrilled to help break in the new venue for a hometown crowd.
He adds, “Now, being able to be there the first year that it’s around, being able to take [my special guests] Jerrod Niemann and Cam, just go do that thing big and do it right, it’s just awesome.”
