It’s time to pitch like a pro and swing like a superstar.
The city parks and recreation department announced Tuesday a grand opening of CiCo Park’s Steel and Pipe Supply Ballpark on March 28. Community members are invited to attend beginning at 9 a.m. when the ballpark that consists of four new turf fields — two baseball-sized and two softball-sized — officially opens to the public.
Guests can walk the complex, explore the new amenities and visit with parks and recreation staff who will be available to answer questions about the facility.
