Dolly Parton and Katy Perry will team up to perform her hits “Coat of Many Colors” and “Jolene” on the Academy of Country Music Awards Sunday, April 3 in Las Vegas. The Country Music Hall of Famer revealed details about the performance Thursday at Dollywood, where she’s promoting the theme park’s latest addition, a new ride named Lightning Rod, alleged to be the world’s fastest wooden roller coaster.
The Country Music Hall of Famer also rolled out details about one of the stops on her upcoming 60-city tour of the U.S. and Canada. She’ll play LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee on November 15, as a benefit for her Imagination Library, which sends free books to children all around the world. Tickets go on sale July 1, with Dollywood season pass holders getting first crack at them.
So far, details for the remainder of Dolly’s Pure & Simple dates are forthcoming. Her double-album Pure & Simple with Dolly’s Biggest Hits is also due later this year.
