Image Courtesy Broken Bow RecordsDustin Lynch is riding high on the country chart with his latest hit, “Where It’s At,” and he’s hoping that radio success translates into a CMA nomination someday. Dustin is eligible for a New Artist of the Year nod this year, and you can bet he’ll be watching closely as the nominees are announced Wednesday morning on ABC’s Good Morning America.

Dustin tells ABC News Radio is would be “so cool” to get a CMA nod. He says, “There’s not a bigger tip of the hat or high-five from Nashville’s music community, and from your peers and colleagues. That’s an awesome thing.”

Dustin feels he’s got plenty more hit songs to follow up “Where It’s At,” on his sophomore album of the same name. It comes out next week, and Dustin is positive this new music will catch CMA voters’ attention.

“I think accolades will follow if I continue to give it everything I got,” Dustin adds. “I know I’m giving it everything I got right now, so hopes are high!”

Little Big Town and Darius Rucker will announce the top nominees for the 48th Annual CMA Awards on ABC’s Good Morning America Wednesday morning during the 8:30 half-hour. They’ll announce the rest of the categories in a press conference streaming live at CMAAwards.com starting at 10 a.m. ET.

In other Dustin news, he’ll perform on FOX News’s Fox & Friends this Tuesday morning to celebrate the release of Where It’s At. Fans in New York City can attend the taping at FOX News headquarters in Manhattan, and the first 100 people in the audience will get a free, autographed copy of Dustin’s new album.  One lucky fan at the show will win a trip to Los Angeles to see Dustin perform an exclusive acoustic concert on board the Hornblower cruise ship later in the week.
