That record is a long way from Eric’s first show in the Chicago area. He says, “Our journey in the city started in 2005 for about 20 people on Weed Street at a place called Joe’s Bar. Those 20 were loud and proud, and they turned this thing into damn near 20,000.”
In other Eric news, he’s been named as a 2015 inductee into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony will take place Thursday, October 15 in Kannapolis, NC. Eric hails from Granite Falls, NC.
