Poking has returned to Facebook after over a decade away.
The social media giant re-added the feature on it’s website design earlier this year, making it more noticeable both on a desktop or on the app.
The Poke was a feature on the original version of Facebook, back when it was known at TheFacebook. Users utilized poking to do everything from annoy their friends to engage in lighthearted flirting.
It declined in popularity and the Poke button was phased out after 2014. To use the re-born feature, just ‘pokes’ on Facebook, or go to facebook.com/pokes.
