The Riley County Police Department is investigating a burglary at a fireworks stand west of Manhattan.

Officers filed a report of theft of property or services just before 9 a.m. July 3 in the 4500 block of Anderson Avenue.

A 44-year-old man was listed as the victim after it was reported an unknown suspect stole a cash drawer and various inventory from a fireworks stand.

The estimated loss totaled $4,686.94.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Riley County Police Department or Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Anonymous tips may qualify for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
