Thursday, FHFTC received a $9,450 donation from K-State Credit Union. The funds were raised through the credit union’s annual Skip-A-Pay program, this was the first time they received the donation.
“We knew they were going to donate some money to us, but we had no idea it was going to be that much,” says Lisa.

Foster Teen Camps give foster teens a safe place to get a break from an uncertain life and have fun with other kids while building trust and hope for the future. Lisa says the money will in part go toward their Homes of Hope program as well as for their multiple camps and programs coming up in Summer.

“Mike and Lisa at Flint Hills Foster Teen Camps are doing great work for Kansas teens in foster care,” says K-State Credit Union President and CEO LaRae Kraemer. “We are excited that the Skip-A-Pay proceeds are being donated to such a great organization.”
