Riley County Police are investigating a forgery case reported Wednesday morning involving a stolen business check.

Officers filed the report Oct. 1 around 9:04 a.m. in the 500 block of Fort Riley Boulevard. Police said Carpet One and Kansas State Bank were listed as victims after an unknown suspect allegedly stole a business check and deposited it. The total loss was estimated at $1,990.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact RCPD or Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Tips submitted through Crime Stoppers allow callers to remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
