A Fort Riley solider was identified as the victim in a Feb. 29 collision on I-70 in Topeka.
Pfc. Coral Lynn Clark, 24, was a chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear specialist.
“The officers, NCOs and enlisted members of the 1st Infantry Division
Sustainment Brigade extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends
of Pfc. Coral Lynn Clark,” said Lt. Col. Clint E. Tracy, the brigade’s rear
provisional commander.
Tracy continued, “Coral was a model Soldier and an inspiration to her
peers and superiors alike through her work ethic and her singing.”
Clark joined the Army in March 2014, arriving at Fort Riley in September of that year.
During the time she served, Clark never deployed – but was the recipient of the Army Achievement Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Army Service Ribbon.
