Mark TuckerMove over, Trisha YearwoodGarth Brooks has another duet partner! And it just happens to be Carrie Underwood’s husband, Mike Fisher.

It all started back in January, when the “Church Bells” crooner shared a video of her hockey-playing husband singing along to Garth’s 1992 hit, “The River.” When Garth got wind of it, he issued an invitation for the Predators’ Captain to join him onstage. Wednesday it happened, though the stage was Instagram.

“I’m going to send this song out to my sweetheart, my girlfriend, Carrie Underwood. Carrie, a little song for you,” Garth said before starting to play “The River,” with Mike eventually joining in.

Carrie shared a little more of the pair’s duet, along with her take on the whole matter. “How is it that my hubby, @mfisher1212 gets to sing with THE @garthbrooks before I do?” she asks playfully, eventually getting the last word. “As payback, I think I’ll try to see if Wayne Gretzky wants to play a pick up hockey game sometime!”
