Pottawatomie County Justice Center

Guilty pleas in two separate cases were entered Tuesday in Pottawatomie County District Court. Martin Johnson of Wamego pled guilty to aggravated incest and furnishing alcohol to a minor for illicit purposes. Johnson’s sentencing has been set for February 16th. Johns was arrested last summer on River Pond road in the Tuttle Creek State Park just north of Manhattan. The victim was reported to be between the ages of 16 and 18. Original charges included two aggravated incest offenses.
Also Tuesday, David Huffman of Ogden entered a guilty plea to residential burglary and making false information. Huffman’s sentencing is set for February 16th. Huffman was arrested this past May in Riley County on the Pottawatomie County warrant listing two theft counts, three burglary charges, and making false information.
