Republic NashvilleFlorida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley gets back to his roots as the duo plays this year’s Daytona 500 Pre-Race Show leading up to the 58th annual competition Sunday, February 21 at Daytona International Speedway. He not only grew up in the neighboring town of Ormond Beach, his father’s also the mayor there.
“It’s a dream come true to play in the city where I was born, went to high school in and now have the honor of being a part of one of my family’s favorite sporting events,” Brian reflects. “Performing at the 500 feels full circle to me, as I grew up working [it] as a fundraiser for our baseball team and was in awe then and still am.”
