Hunter Hayes will embark on his 24 Hour Road Race on May 9, starting with a performance on ABC’s Good Morning America. He’ll then set off on his attempt to play nine shows through the next morning in hopes of breaking the Guinness record for most concerts played in multiple cities in 24 hours. The Flaming Lips currently hold the record, with eight shows played in 24 hours.
Dan + Shay and Charlie Worsham will join Hunter on select shows. Hunter will be wearing a TUDOR Heritage Chrono watch engraved with the Road Race logo during the shows. That timepiece will be auctioned off at the end of the trek to raise money for the hunger relief organization Feeding America.
Hunter’s 24 Hour Road Race coincides with the release of his new album, Storyline, on May 9. That project features Hunter’s latest single, “Invisible.”
