ABC/Image Group LAIn addition to touring the country and working on new albums, Jon Pardi and Lauren Alaina will also be picking up a hammer and some nails this year. That’s because they’re Ply Gem’s 2019 ambassadors for its Home for Good project, which helps Habitat for Humanity.

“I grew up in a community where neighbors helping each other is just how it’s done,” Jon says. “So, when the opportunity came up to work with Ply Gem and Habitat for Humanity families, it was an easy decision — Absolutely! Let’s go help build some houses!”

Since 2016, Ply Gem has donated more than $2 million of its products, like windows and vinyl siding, to Habitat. In all, they’ve helped build close to five hundred homes in ninety neighborhoods.

“I partnered with Ply Gem and Habitat for Humanity last year on several homes in Cleveland, Ohio,” Lauren adds. “And I was able to be there to help welcome the families into their new homes. I think I was just as excited as they were! It was so special and I’m looking forward to doing even more this year.”

In the past, Alan Jackson and Darius Rucker have been the Ply Gem/Habitat for Humanity ambassadors.

Since Habitat’s beginnings in 1976, it’s helped close to seven million people through home construction, rehab and repairs.
