Three people were arrested and charged with first-degree murder and burglary late Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning, according to a press release from the Junction City Police Department Wednesday night.

24-year-old Jacqueline Sampson of Fort Riley, 18-year-old Cameron Fontenot of Junction City and an unnamed 17-year-old Junction City resident were those apprehended and charged by the JCPD.

21-year-old Darian White of Junction City was found dead in a parking lot in the 700 block of West 11th Street last Thursday just before 2 a.m.

The JCPD says Sampson and Fontenot are being held without bond pending first appearance at the Geary County Detention Center. The juvenile is being held at the North Central Kansas Regional Juvenile Detention Center.
