Red Bow RecordsJoe Nichols has recorded ten songs for his upcoming studio album, and he says three or four of those songs are in the running to be radio singles. He also  admits it’s a challenge to incorporate his traditional country style into the music while also sounding current enough to be played next to Florida Georgia Line and Luke Bryan.

Joe tells LA Weekly, “I hope that country kind of finds its traditional path again. I understand where we’re at … we’re trying to make the best record that we can do to satisfy the country in us, but at the same time try to be relevant today to radio.”

Joe’s musical instincts paid off with his 2013 album, Crickets, which produced the #1 hits “Sunny and 75” and “Yeah.”
