Image Courtesy Red Bow RecordsJoe Nichols has scored two consecutive #1 hits with the feel-good love songs “Sunny & 75” and “Yeah.” So, he feels no need to slow down the tempo on his upcoming single, “Hard to Be Cool.” The new track has become a fan-favorite at Joe’s concerts lately.

He tells Rolling Stone Country, “It’s surprised me how popular it is in the live show. That’s a good indicator of what album cuts should be singles: when people are singing every word to it, and they get excited right after hearing the intro.”

“Hard to Be Cool” was the last song recorded for Joe’s latest album, Crickets, available now.
