A Junction City man was injured following a two-car accident on I-70 on Thursday afternoon.

The collision occurred just before 3 pm in the Eastbound lane of I-70 at mile marker 303. Isaac Anderson of Junction City was on the ramp at 303 attempting to turn left onto the K-18 bypass when Linda Reade of Junction City ran a stop sign heading south towards Clarks Creek in her 2023 Ford Explorer causing Anderson to collide with her in his 2012 Dodge Avenger.

The collision caused both vehicles to be disabled from the damage. Both Reade and Anderson were treated for injuries on scene by EMS and Anderson was later transported to Stormont Vail for his injuries.

Both vehicles were removed from the scene by A Homestead Wrecker. Anderson’s status at this time is unknown. The Geary County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene.
