If you want to know what Justin Moore is really like, he says you just need to listen to his current hit.
“I’ve always tried to cut songs that provide insight as to who I am and what type of person I am,” he reflects. “The way this melody is in ‘Lettin’ the Night Roll’ is kinda roll with the flow, and kinda more chilled out soundin’, kinda like my personality. I’m real laid-back.”
Justin says it’s also a pretty good snapshot of his latest CD, Off the Beaten Path.
“It’s one of the songs on the album that I think gives people a good idea of what they’re gonna get with the whole album, which is a good mixture of what I’ve done in the past, but also a little fresher, a little more progressive soundin’.”
If you’re still left wanting more of Justin’s sound, you’ll find the ACM New Artist of the Year contributing background vocals to Brantley Gilbert‘s new single, “Small Town Throwdown,” along with Thomas Rhett.
