Kansas State Police Department will be offering training to both students and faculty at K-State.

The training will be focused on active shooter response training called ALiCE, which stands for Alert, Lockdown, inform, Counter, Evacuate. Past active shooter situations have been evaluated by agencies to study how law enforcement and potential victims can minimize the risk during such events.

The training will be offered October 30th from 1-3 p.m. in the K-State Big Twelve conference room. Additionally, departments can schedule training for its employees upon request.

There is no charge for the event, but registration is required ahead of time to ensure adequate seating. Registration can be made online at HRIS Self Enrollment or by sending and email to Megan Hoelting at learning-develop-hr@k-state.edu.
