KMAN’s Cathy Dawes had an opportunity to visit with Kansas Transportation Secretary Richard Carlson, former State Representative and Pottawatomie County Commissioner, about whether the Highway 24/Flush Road intersection needs to be re-evaluated following a serious accident there Monday. A petition called “Make Hway 24/Flush Road Safe” has been circulating since the Monday accident and drawn 2,400 signatures. KMAN’s interview follows:
