Alex Mackey
A 57-year-old Kansas Department of Corrections inmate serving time in a Geary County case has apparently been released from jail. Alex Mackey had been serving time on convictions including drug possession, theft, aggravated burglary,and aggravated robbery in four different counties from 1983-2002. The Geary County conviction was Mackey’s first reported conviction in 1983.
Public comment sessions were held last August. A report earlier this month indicates Mackey’s current status as post incarceration. His current location is in Sedgwick County.
Mackey’s other convictions were in Finney, Atchison, and Sedgwick counties.
