Kelsea Ballerini’s concert special that shares its title with her album The First Time debuts tonight on AUDIENCE. The show, taped at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, features a stripped-down performance of the song that happens to be number one on the country charts right now, “Dibs.”
“Songwriting can be a lot of different things. For me it literally was like this gift that I feel like fell into my lap at this time where I really needed it,” Kelsea says in the intimate interview that accompanies the music.
The 22-year-old also reflects on how her success has affected her. “Having opportunities I think helps you learn a lot about yourself. I want to be a good person first and a good artist second,” she says thoughtfully.
You’ll hear Kelsea’s first number one, “Love Me Like You Mean It,” and her next single, “Peter Pan,” as well. The First Time: Kelsea Ballerini premieres tonight at 9 p.m. ET on AUDIENCE, a network available exclusively to DirecTV and U-Verse subscribers.
