Blue Chair/Reviver RecordsDavid Lee Murphy

has his first top-20 hit since 2004’s “Loco,” thanks to his new duet ‘Everything’s Gonna Be Alright’ with Kenny Chesney.

While Kenny’s previously recorded plenty of David Lee’s songs, like “Living in Fast Forward,” he decided it was time the two head into the studio together.

“When David Lee sent me the song ‘Everything’s Gonna Be Alright,'” Kenny recalls, “it just made me happy. It just made me smile, and that’s what I believe music is suppose to do. When we finished the record that was our hope, that it would make people happy and that it would make people smile.”

Kenny believes in the “Party Crowd” hitmaker so much, he co-produced his entire album. No Zip Code is set to come out April 6. You’ll also find Kenny and David Lee duetting on the hit “Dust on the Bottle” on Kenny’s Live in No Shoes Nation album.
