Dolly Parton‘s long time duet partner, Kenny Rogers, performed a benefit concert at Dollywood last weekend to raise money for Dolly’s Imagination Library. The sold-out concert raised more than $60,000 for the organization. Kenny is proud to contribute to Dolly’s effort to give books to children around the world.
He says, “Dolly has shipped over 70 million books! I think it’s a great idea. I’m glad to be a part of this and I hope it helps!”
Of course, Kenny recently announced that he’s retiring from the road. He’ll head out on his final Christmas tour starting November 11 in Niagara Falls, Canada.
