Lane striping began on Fort Riley Boulevard Monday. The work started at the intersection of Fort Riley Boulevard and U.S. 24 and will end at Westwood. The first phase will be removal of existing paint and then striping the center and dashed lines. This portion may take 3 or more days. Motorists should expect lane shifts and delays, but there will be no lane closures.
A second phase will follow that includes removal and re-striping of crosswalks and stop bars at intersections along the route. Motorists are asked to obey all posted traffic control and use caution in the area.
