Image Courtesy CurbLee Brice spent years playing small club shows and writing hits for other artists before striking it big with his own string of hits. That time in the trenches gave Lee the confidence to do things his own way in the studio on his two previous albums, Love Like Crazy and Hard 2 Love. He’s still chasing his own sound on his upcoming project, I Don’t Dance.
Lee tells Ohio’s Youngstown Vindicator newspaper, “It’s been a lot of work but also a lot of fun. Also, I’ve been able to make these last two albums on my own, which proved to me you have to be yourself as an artist, and you can’t let the label tell you what to be or do.”
I Don’t Dance features the hit title track and his new single, “Drinking Class.” It comes out September 9.
